FreshDrop HTX was founded in 2025 with one mission — to make sure no Houston family goes without food because of distance, transportation, or finances.
Growing up in a single-mother household as the oldest of three children, our founder — Montele — knows firsthand what it feels like when food runs out and there's nowhere to turn. There were days his mother had him knock on a neighbor's door just to make sure he and his sisters could eat that night.
That experience never left him. And when he looked around Houston — one of the largest, most prosperous cities in America — he saw thousands of families living the same reality. Families in Third Ward, Acres Homes, Sunnyside, and Gulfton who live miles from the nearest affordable grocery store and have no car to get there.
FreshDrop HTX was born in 2025 to solve that problem. Not with a delivery app. Not with a subscription fee. But with a real truck, real groceries, and real people showing up in your neighborhood — so no family has to go without.
Our mission is simple: provide a consistent flow of food to those who may be low on funds, have no car, or simply need groceries brought to them. Every stop we make is a step toward a Houston where hunger is never just two miles away from a solution.

We accept EBT, Lone Star, credit, debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App. We believe payment method should never stand between a family and their next meal. Food access is a right, not a privilege.
